Frequently asked questions.
What is a Korean Lash Lift?
A Korean Lash Lift is an advanced lash-lifting technique developed in South Korea that focuses on precision, lash health, and long-lasting, customizable curl. Unlike traditional keratin lash lifts that primarily rely on strong processing solutions and standard rods, a Korean lash lift uses specialized shields, refined solution formulas, and meticulous placement to create a lift.
The result is lifted, elongated lashes that look naturally defined rather than overly curled or harsh.
Many clients prefer a Korean lash lift over a traditional keratin lift because it is:
• More customizable to eye shape and lash growth
• Designed to minimize over-processing
• Focused on maintaining lash integrity and shine
• Known for softer grow-out and longer-lasting structure
• Ideal for creating a refined, luxury finish rather than a dramatic curl
My Korean lash lifts prioritize artistry and lash health, delivering a clean, elegant lift that enhances your natural beauty without compromising the condition of your lashes.
Is a Lash Lift damaging to my natural lashes?
No, but as other services, they must be done correctly. At each visit I will analyze your natural lashes to choose the appropriate processing time, and curl shape to give you beautiful results, without the damage. Your lashes are hydrated 4 times!! This is a chemical process of the hair structure, this is why hydration at your appointment, and aftercare is very important. Hair must be conditioned daily to avoid damage; we highly recommend purchasing a keratin conditioning treatment, available for purchase, to keep your lashes at optimal health. Be mindful of excessive rubbing, as this can cause the lashes to break. Keeping them nourished will help prevent breakage.
Does a lash lift sting, burn or hurt? I’m nervous about the chemicals.
I’m very cautious and meticulous with the application of the chemicals to ensure nothing gets in your eyes, or touches your skin. It is important that you come in ready to relax, chatting makes the eyes flutter and can cause the eyes to accidentally open and chemicals to seep in. Some people are sensitive to the minor fumes of the chemicals, which can sting a little bit. In this case, I have ways to diffuse it so it’s not uncomfortable. My priority is maintaining the health of your lashes, and eye safety.

Why can’t I drink caffeine before my appointment?
Caffeine is a stimulant and causes the eyes to flutter excessively. This can make the eyes water, causing the chemicals to accidentally get in your eyes, which can cause severe irritation or burning. So please avoid caffeine 3-4 hours before your appointment.
I just had permanent makeup on my brows/eyes, can I still get a lash lift?
No, you must wait until your permanent makeup is fully healed before making any lash appointment. Usually 2 weeks post PMU.
I’ve had a lash lift done before, and all the lashes kinked and twisted. Will this happen again?
This may be a result of a couple things: wrong shaping and/or over-processed. I use my extensive knowledge, training and expertise to avoid these results. However, proper aftercare plays a major part. To avoid kink, twisting, and unruly growth, we recommend conditioning the lashes daily. Preferably with a Keratin conditioning treatment. By conditioning the lashes, you are replenishing the hair of much needed nourishment to continue to grow softly. This also helps your lash lift last longer.
My previous lash lift done elsewhere did not take. There was hardly any difference. Why did this happen?
When the hair is not processed long enough the results can be minimal, or non-existent. This is why I analyze your lashes at each appointment and choose the correct chemicals to ensure you have your desired results. I always give you realistic expectations based on your natural lashes, which is why my lash lifts are customized. Knowing how chemicals work on the lashes will guarantee a lift without damage. I also offer a 1 week guarantee. See Terms & Conditions for details.
I am allergic to lash extensions glue, will the lash lift glue cause allergic reactions?
No, as the components and ingredients of the two are completely different. Lash lift glue is a water soluble, and gentle adhesive. It never touches your skin and it is removed at the end of the service. If you’re concerned about possible reactions, or you have sensitive skin, we recommend coming in for a patch test 24 hours prior to your appointment.
What is a Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination is the reshaping of the brow hairs, thru a perm process. This will help achieve a fluffier, wispier brow, which makes them appear fuller with the new redirection of the brow hair. Brows must be kept moisture-free and dry for 24 hours. Price includes brow cleanup and tint, but not required. NOT recommended for severely sparse hair, or sensitive skin.
What's the difference between Lash Extensions & Lash Lift?
Extensions will look like you already have makeup on, and reduces the amount of time you need to get ready in the mornings. They also give your lashes a longer and fuller appearance. A lash filler and tint will curl and color the lashes you already have. Both services can provide the look you desire (natural vs. glam), but lash extensions are more customizable when trying to replace the need for makeup.
